Pru gets a free ’do at Juna Berry in Dublin

Sounds fruity but it’s true, free blow drys are going abegging at a Dublin salon near you! Well near us anyway in the city centre.

One of our new and already intrepid (in the prudent department) interns, Deirdre spotted a salon with a sign advertising for models to get your hair cut or blow dried, so off I went on Tuesday at lunchtime for a quick blow dry – and my gruaig is still looking good.

But seriously folks the salon is on Lower Ormond Quay and they’re still looking for models – in fact they asked me to come back today! My trainee stylist’s name was Annika (from Sweden) who’s been working there for 10 months. So if you’re feeling down or broke, you can have a free coffee, trawl through your favourite magazines (Prudence being at the top of the pile) and get your hair done – all for free. Oh remember to give the poor girl a tip.

We checked on the web and this salon apparently won a prize at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Irish Hairdresser of the Year. So there! xo xo
